POW Revelstoke is running a vermiculture (indoor worm composting) workshop for Waste Reduction Week!
An interactive, hands-on workshop (COVID- safe socially distanced) where you and your family get to make and take home your very own worm bin.
These indoor composting bins are a great, low maintenance way to continue composting throughout the winter. Plus we can give you the tips and tricks on how to keep your worm bin odor and fruit fly free. They’re quite small, discreet tupperware bins that you can keep right in your kitchen or tucked away out of sight.
POW Revelstoke volunteer Marlee Verleih will be running this workshop. She’s been a worm farmer for 3 years and has a lot of experience troubleshooting over the years so you don’t have to make the same mistakes.
For the fee of $25 you’ll get all the supplies, instructions and helpful resources to make this a successful project in your home long term.
The ticket is per bin, one ticket can cover a family, please let us know how many people will be attending.
Location to be determined, it will be outside under cover. All the details will be emailed to you prior to the event.
For any queries please email Marlee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
