Revelstoke Museum & Archives hosts a weekly Craft Club every Friday at noon upstairs in the museum.

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, colouring, beading, or any other craft you may be working on and join us for an hour of coffee or tea, conversation, and crafting.

We have expert knitters and crocheters willing to help beginners. Everyone is welcome, and there is no charge.

Children are welcome to come with their parents – a children’s play area is available in the program room.

Canuck Splitfest @ Revelstoke Community Centre

On Friday Jan 11th, Trapper is holding an open house at its factory from 5-10pm. There will be burgers, beer, and music, so you should definitely come by for a tour and to meet us all. The entry tickets for the Saturday night show can be purchased through our website, or – if you only decide to join last minute – at Trapper as well as at local establishments and the Rec centre itself.
Saturday Jan 12th is the big night at the Rec centre. There will be a Tradeshow with an abundance of brands represented as of 4:30pm, including free splitboard demos. The silent auction and raffle ticket sale will be set up from 5pm until 9pm after which the raffle will take place. During the entire evening – between 6:30pm and 9pm – free presentations will be held by experienced industry people. They will be sharing their stories, from avalanche experiences and weather tendencies to splitboard and mountaineering exploitations.

Drop In Curling @ Revelstoke Forum

A great oportunity to try out another exceptional winter sport in a non competitive environment. Start time is 7 PM, fee at $5, with the club supplying instruction, grippers, brushes and sliders. We ask that you bring along clean running shoes to wear on the ice and recommend wearing loose fitting jeans.
For your enjoyment we have our upstairs lounge open.

Must provide youth with a day ticket to Kicking Horse Resort

Start young and learn in a comfortable environment with like minded teens.

This course will cover avalanche formation and release, identifying avalanche terrain, the basics of trip planning, tools and resources to mitigate your avalanche risk, appropriate travel techniques in avalanche terrain and basic companion rescue.

Prerequisites: Comfortable skiing or snowboarding on blue & some black runs at the resort.
